
This client already had an online booking system, but it was out of date, not very reliable, and not very user friendly. We developed a web-based solution using the latest technology that gives the patient the ability to book all lab appointments online, view their appointment history and modify their appointments, as well as the ability to book appointments for dependents and find the earliest available appointment.
In addition to just allowing for appointment booking, this system ties together all of the labs that Dynalife runs. Every location logs into this system to see what appointments have been made at that location in real time, as well as allowing them to manage walk ins and track the time people are waiting in the waiting room in order to streamline staffing at those locations and provide better service to their customers. The same system is used by the call centre to book appointment for everyone that calls in. the call centre staff have access to the appointments at every location and can use this information to give the callers the best service possible. The screen below shows how the call centre has access to see which sites are experiencing long waits, how many staff are working and how many patients are waiting:

This system is currently used to book over 1500 appointments daily and has over half a million patient records stored in the system. Over one year since implementation, it has experienced less then 10 minutes of unscheduled downtime.
