  Web Developer

 

Scope of the Position

A Web Developer is responsible for the creation and maintenance of websites from a technical perspective, by implementing the design as created by the Graphic Designer.  Additionally the Web Developer may do custom web development.

Major Responsibilities

• Creating websites using the DotNetNuke content management system
• Creating DotNetNuke skins with guidance from the Graphic Designer
• Entering and maintain website content as required
• Supporting existing customers with technical problems
• Developing custom modules for the DotNetNuke CMS
• Providing effort estimates for the purpose of developing project quotes
• Maintain existing custom-developed applications using Microsoft .NET and SQL Server 2008 architecture.
• Adding features and maintaining the existing web applications
• Other duties as assigned

Daily Job Tasks

• Review outstanding help desk tickets and investigate/resolve
• Respond to help desk tickets as they are assigned
• Program new functionality or perform bug fixes to existing applications as directed
• Update or add content to client web sites
• Monitor health of client websites

  Outside Sales Representative
Minimize

 

Scope of the Position

An Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales with existing customers and developing opportunities with new customers within assigned territory.


Major Responsibilities


• Developing and refining sales presentation on website and custom development offerings
• Building a prospect list through research
• Scheduling appointments and visiting existing customers to review product needs and determining other opportunities.
• Providing product quotes as required.
• Opening new accounts.
• Continuously updating customers on product changes and modifications.
• Providing solutions to customers’ problems.
• Product introduction of new releases.
• Liaising between customers and the company for up-to-date status of service, pricing and new product release launches.
• Preparing reports on marketing and sales activities
• Performing maintenance and updating of customers’ accounts including contact names for future sales using the provided CRM software.
• Keeping up to date on new products, services, procedures and tools by attending training and departmental meetings
• Other duties as assigned.

Daily Job Tasks


• Create/update prospect list
• Call prospects to set up appointments for sales presentations
• Visit prospects and existing clients to meet about their needs
• Update CRM database with new prospects and customers
• Maintain website blog, facebook page, twitter
• Report on marketing and sales activites
